A 10-day intensive course (14–28 August 2023, 9:00–14:00 daily) for gifted secondary school students, run as part of the IV-MINT-Stipendium für High-Potentials aus der Ukraine programme in partnership with the Industriellenvereinigung and the University of Vienna (Maths+).

Students learned to create 3D models using Autodesk Fusion 360, integrate electronics and microcontrollers into physical designs, and apply machine-learning algorithms to AI-supported design workflows. Facilities used included TU Graz's Smart Factory and MINKT Lab.

Participants completed the course with practical 3D-printed artefacts and a certificate of completion.

RoboHand

RoboHand was one of the student projects that emerged from the course — a servo-actuated robotic hand exploring mechanical design, embedded control, and 3D-printed structure. The hardware files and firmware are open-source.
